Aleah..... A TEENAGER! Oh Boy!

February 22ND was a great day at the Schreiber home! Aleah turned the BIG 13!
We can't believe how fast the years have flown bye! We had Rich, Sherrie and Bryce over for dinner. We had homemade chicken noodle soup and french bread, Aleahs request and Eric brought home a ice cream cake ~ Aleah has been telling us for months "I want a Dairy Queen Ice Cream cake for my Birthday this year!"
Aleah recieved some great cards in the mail from friends and family, she especially loved the singing card from Frank! Thanks Frank it made Aleahs day! Aleah saved up her birthday cash and this past Thursday and Friday Kee took Aleah and her friend Marlee to Pocatello for a night in a nice hotel, shopping and just playing around.
We feel so blessed to have Aleah in our family! She is such a great person! She has done so well with this move. Report cards recently came out and guess what????
ALEAH GOT STRAIGHT A'S!!!!! At parent teacher confrence, her teachers all had wonderful things to say about her. Her home room teacher also wanted us to know how polite and respectful Aleah is, he said that she has a kind heart and treats all her peers with respect, that makes Eric and I very happy :)
Also Aleah has been ask to participate in the 2009 Southwest Honor Choir Clinic!
This is a "by invitation" only clinic where they spend a entire day with a elete guest conductor with students from all over the state. After a full day of learning, they perform what they have learned that evening. We are really exited about this! Aleah should have alot of fun! Also Aleah's chior teacher has ask if she would move from the 7TH grade chior to the 8TH grade chior! Way to go Aleah!
Aleah, we love you! You are such a good example to your family and we want you to know how lucky we feel to have you in our lives!
