Father Son Outing

Eric and Chance had yet another successful Father Son Outing. Eric of course was ask to prepare breakfast for all the guys. This year they combined the 1ST and 2ND ward, so they had a really great turn out. Eric did breakfast sandwiches and said they were a hit. This year they all camped up at the Red Cliff ranch. Eric said it was like a picture when they drove up to the ranch! So Beautiful! Eric hooked up our fun little tent trailer and took it with, of course they had to hear all the.... "Oh here comes the Hilton" Jokes and "Your not really camping unless your in a tent" Comments! The guys had their heater and were above ground and enjoyed every minute of it! "True Camping" or not! Chance and Eric took of this afternoon for string lake for some fishing, Eric heard there really biting. We'll post photos of that later.

A Great Sunday Afternoon in the Park

We had such a great Sunday afternoon. The four of us went up into the park, took the loop past Jenny lake and stopped in at Leaks Marina. We had their yummy Pizza, and a nice scoop of ice cream. We skipped rocks into Jackson Lake for a while then drove back home around through the park and into Teton Village, then back home again. Of course we forgot our camera, so we have this one fun Pic. Chance took with is phone. Everything is SOOOOOOO Green! The scenery was incredible! We are so blessed to live in such a beautiful place! We really look forward to this time of year.

Aleah misses her daily "Frank Tomato" more than you could ever know! Come back to Wyoming and share some of that green thumb would ya??????

Erics Fall of 07 Elk

So Eric finally was able to pick up his European Mounted Elk! He's been feeling pretty good about this one, and we are enjoying the meat he harvested from it! 1ST thing he did when he got it home was move the Bev Doolittle photos over and mount it to the wall! The kids both say its much better than the heads with hair and eyeballs! Awesome Job Eric!

Our Friend Fran

Fran sent pictures of our last get together at her house before she sold it. She says she is doing great and loves New Mexico. She says Charles is taking good care of her and she has no regrets. It has been a different year without her here and we all have had to start paying to have our eyebrows waxed! Dang! We are happy for her and glad that she is doing well. We love ya Fran!

Our Favorite Girl Aleah!

Aleah has finished the 6TH Grade Yay! She did so well her first year of Middle School! She is really looking forward to summer volleyball, where at already 5FT 3Inches she will be a great asset to the team! She is excited for her first year of Girls camp next month, and feels so lucky because her mom will be there with her! She is hiking the windcaves for her 1ST year hike, Mom was signed up to go with her but her belly probably won't fit through the little tunnels! Kee will be waiting outside the caves for her exit! Aleah had good grades this past year and was awesome in Choir! She is riding her bike everywhere and has quite the group of peeps she runs with! We love our Aleah!!!

Still missing Carol

Its been 5 Months and 15 days since Carol passed away. We do pretty good most of the time, but this past few days I have really had a hard time with her passing. We are all getting so excited about the baby - 5 months today, 4 months more to go! My mind cant help but wander to Carol and wishing she were here! I know that she is smiling down and so excited for us, but there is so much I want to share with her and laugh with her about. Carol was the first one I wanted to share my news with, and each day, when the baby moves or baby plans come to mind, I want to call and share with her. Carol was my sounding board. Eric of course is the 1st one I go to but for a woman's point of view, it was always Carol. So today I am aching for her. Here's to Carol, the most wonderful girlfriend in all my life, I miss her terribly.
