Can you BELIEVE IT!! Our little Joyah turned the big ONE Sunday! It seems as though she just arrived and now here it is a year already! It was nice having her birthday on a Sunday, and a Conference Sunday at that! We were able to spend the entire day as a family and just enjoy our little Joy.
Eric made a great breakfast of pancakes and eggs, Joyah is getting so big and has allot of fun TRYING to feed herself. Joyahs most favorite person lately is her Daddy! When Eric is home he is number one! Eric just carries her around on his hip where ever he goes its so sweet! I made Joyah a cake, I sometimes wish I had all the cake making skills allot of other mommies do but I just don't HOWEVER... I was very pleased with how cute her little cake turned out! Before HaPpY BiRtHdAy was even sung... Joyah had taken a handful of cake! It was so cute. I ask Aleah what her favorite thing was about having Joyah in our family and she said "EVERYTHING!!" I ask Chance and he said "She is just so cute!" Eric and I have so many feelings of gratitude and love when we think about all the things we love about having Joyah in our family! Last night as we were getting ready for bed and Joyah was walking around grabbing our legs we both just smiled! One year and nine months ago, we never could have dreamed what was about to take place! We are so very grateful for our little Joyah! Joyah.... as you grow, you will learn all about our family and learn about what a Joyfull surprise you have been and know that in our eyes, you are the most beautiful thing all four of us have ever seen!!
